Pesticides can be used to kill insects, fungi and other organisms that harm the growth of crops. The earliest pesticides used include DDT and HCH, which can eliminate pests in large quantities. However, they have good stability, can exist in the environment for a long time and accumulate continuously in animals, plants and human bodies, thus being eliminated. Later, organophosphorus pesticides, such as dichlorvos, were used instead of the original pesticides. Because they are too toxic, they are harmful to people and livestock. In recent years, a batch of highly effective and low-toxic pesticides have appeared, with specificity, i.e. hormone pesticides. Pesticides have both advantages and disadvantages and are good for plants. however, eating them by mistake will cause potential safety hazards. I hope that the majority of pesticide users will be cautious.
